Application Support Analyst - Financial Software

Application Support Analyst - Financial Software required to join an order management system software vendor based in London. The Application Support Analyst - Financial Software will be required to be client-facing and cover initial analysis of client requirements all the way through to system implementation, delivery and support, with a bias towards SQL.

Main responsibilities include

* Working closely with clients to analyse reporting requirements

* Documenting requirements in formal specifications

* Implementing solutions on client site

Experience Required

* SQL (writing left, right inner,outer joins)

* Candidates will have experience of working on implementation projects in an asset management front-office environment.

* Strong support background

* Knowledge of full project life cycle

Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate the following skills

* 2 years commercial experience with SQL Database

* Experience working on an implementation/ upgrade of a new software

* Up to 12 months in a support environment working on; troubleshooting, editing queries, creating queries, updates against database.

This is a client-facing position and the successful candidate will be required to spend time on-site, either on their own or as part of a team.

As such, candidates will need:

* Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills

* Ability to prioritise and manage time

* Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Self-motivation

* Flexibility around working hours

Salary: 40k-60k
