Job Title: ICT Systems Administrator

Our Client is a leading British designer, innovator and manufacturer of exterior lighting solutions. The Company is currently looking to enhance their IT support team with the addition of an experienced ICT Systems Administrator.

Job Role:

To ensure the company's ICT systems are robust and consistently delivered to users without interruption and that a high level of performance is maintained. Fully service the needs of internal customers regarding both hardware and software support.

Key Responsibilities:

Back Office/ Infrastructures - setup and support:

Windows Server 2008 / 2012 R2 Including:

1 Active Directory

2 Group policy creation/modification

3 DNS configuration

4 DHCP configuration

5 Troubleshooting

6 Email account setup, archiving and administration

7 Microsoft Remote Desktop Services

8 Office 365 administration

Provide support to the business, covering:

Desktop/Laptop - setup and support, including:

1 Windows 7 & Windows 10

2 MS Office 2016 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

3 Printer setup & configuration

4 Managed network switches and LAN's

5 Wireless Access Points

6 Firewall & VPN configuration

7 Mobile phone support

8 Polycom VOIP handsets

9 Antivirus

* Conduct a daily backup procedure as part of the Disaster Recovery plan.

* Create and/or update control documentation for ICT equipment and ensure compliance with company asset registration procedures.

* Ensure documentation of any new IT policies or procedures as introduced by the ICT Manager is updated and controlled in line with company policies and procedures.

* Provide cover in the absence of the ICT Manager.

* Provide help and support to all ICT company users, including assessment of new and existing employee's IT skills. Arrange and/or deliver in house training to meet needs identified.

* Liaise with the ICT Manager in monitoring departmental reporting requirements. Assist in designing and producing solutions to meet requirements.

* Maintain maximum ICT systems availability.

* Assist in specifying and recommending solutions to meet and improve the company objectives and requirements.
