An exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Animator and Designer to join this company's ambitious digital learning development team. Creating engaging, high quality animations and graphical content within a rapidly growing company.

This is a permanent role, based in their Glasgow offices. They offer stability and excellent long-term prospects for the right candidate.

In the medium term, they are also considering candidates for future London based positions.

They are looking for a talented and enthusiastic artist, specialising in design for animation and digital design; to help create exciting, engaging animations and assets that are detailed and interesting. You, as digital animator will be producing assets for learning games, videos, eLearning and interactives.

Working within the creative team, you will be responsible for shaping and developing high-end animations and assets; designed to teach and create experiences across a diverse range of multimedia products.

You will be responsible for creating animations that aim to set-up the narrative storylines, visualise scenarios & activities, and provide clear and concise user-experiences. In doing so, this will form a key part of their interactive, digital solutions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an obvious passion for animation and design with a proven portfolio. Drawing reference from movies, games and entertainment, the successful candidate will contribute to taking our digital animation output to the next level.

Key responsibilities

- Creation of effective and innovative bespoke animations and designs for a variety of clients and output formats.

- Creation of storyboards and concepts.

- Using Adobe Creative Suite applications and other design tools to take a project from conception through to completion

- Collaborate with other team members and work with clients.

Key Attributes

- In-depth knowledge of animation and design.

- Ability to create or adapt and organize scenes for animation.

- Excellent attention to design, detail, form and function with a good eye for colour, tonal balance, and graphic design.

- Excellent working knowledge of industry standard animation tools and image editing programs.

- An artistic eye and the know how to use technology to your advantage.

- Excellent communicator willing to receive and give direction and critique.

- Self-managing and able to identify and meet deadlines and goals.

- Must be a team player and collaborate with others.

- Must be willing to go above and beyond what's expected to ensure the absolute best quality is achieved.

- Ability to learn new tools quickly and effectively.

- Able to work on multiple projects concurrently
