The Role
My client is looking for a QA Tester someone passionate about technology with an eye for detail, to help my client deliver high quality products to their customers.
As the QA Tester, you will work closely with the development team, assisting with all aspects of the development cycle, and ensuring our work meets agreed functional specifications and internal quality targets.
Responsibilities include
* Improving our formal test plans and procedures to ensure that all apps and products are thoroughly tested before being supplied to customers
* Testing our mobile apps on a range of devices and platforms and making sure the apps match designs and functional requirements agreed with the customer.
* Testing our mobile apps against more subjective guidelines to ensure that apps provide a great user experience.
* Testing our broadcast systems and gaining a familiarisation with customer install environments (playout systems, studio desks)
* Providing feedback into the development process to ensure problems are picked up early, and getting involved with customer projects from the start to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood.
* A pragmatic approach to resolving problems would be useful.
* An interest in radio or TV is helpful!
* You must be a heavy user of at least one of the primary mobile and one primary tablet platforms, and have a keen interest in understanding the intricacies of all the others.
