£35,000 - £38,000 pa - 2 year Fixed Term Contract.

Our major client in Sheffield is embarking on a major programme of work and is looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join their expanding team on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract.

You will be a key member of the project team ensuring high quality delivery of the solution.

You will play a key role during the project implementation, applying your understanding of test automation strategies to develop a Test Automation Framework to support Continuous Integration through the use of Jenkins in an Agile environment.

Working closely with the Test Manager, as part of the Data and Technology Workstream, you will be developing a suite of automated tests alongside Developers, Testers and Business representatives

You will be required to build and implement the Test Automation Framework, script tests and package them for automated execution as part of the Continuous Integration capability. You will act as the key point of contact for automated testing queries and share your experience and knowledge with members of the team.

It is expected that you will have at least 5 years experience of testing with the last 3 being spent on automation testing in an Agile environment.In addition you will have solid experience of Selenium Web Driver, SOAPUI, and Jenkins .It is also expected that you will have good experience of setting up test automated frameworks from scratch.
