IT Systems Support Manager - Production & Manufacturing

£30,000pa to £40,000pa + Health & Pension Benefits - Telford, Shropshire

This established UK company who produce innovative global reaching products require a focused, experienced and professional IT Systems Support Manager to take their IT Systems Support function based in Telford into a new chapter.

As the IT Systems Support Manager you will be responsible for analysing, supporting and improving IT systems across the UK, and potentially encompassing and expanding a global IT infrastructure.

You will be directly responsible for the Support, Performance and Technical Management of the IT infrastructure and be given a solid financial budget to take the IT infrastructure forward.

You will also be tasked with reviewing Systems Performance, Capacity, Resilience, Disaster Recovery and make recommendations for IT Systems growth, expansion and capacity for the future.

You will require hands-on technical skills in IT Infrastructure Support and Management, as well as the commercial awareness and professional approach keeping abreast of latest technologies and to engage and manage 3rd party suppliers to get secure best products and support from vendors and stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

* Implementation of LAN and WAN links to various sites

* The Planning and Implementing of Servers to Cloud Project

* Uniformity of IT Systems

* IT Security measures and IT Security resilience

* Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and SLA's

* Managing the deployment, development, monitoring, maintenance, upgrading and support of organisational IT systems. This will include operating systems, servers, PCs, software apps, telephones and peripherals.

* Providing expert advice and support for IT Systems upgrades, installations, conversions and maintenance.

* Oversee the development and enhancement of systems and integration of new systems.

* Working with staff to develop plans and strategies for user effectiveness.

* Ensure written documentation is created and accurately maintained, to include user and system manuals, licence agreements and all documentation relating to modifications and upgrades.

Technology accreditations such as MCSA and MCSE etc desirable but will not take precedence over solid and proven IT Systems Management experience.
