Your goal is to deliver one integrated Business experience. As a Senior UX Designer in our Digital studio team, you will report into the Head of UX and will work to deliver our products and services through our multi-device experiences. You will contribute to the development of key interactive experiences and flows that are consistent across the Business's products. You will need to be an experienced and well-rounded UX professional connecting the dots between business needs, innovation and good design. You will collaborate daily with a diverse set of specialists from information architects, visual designers, project managers, writers, developers and a variety of stakeholders to deliver these digital experiences. You will be required to lead on UX projects and support Junior & Mid-weight UX Designers on larger strategic pieces.

What you'll be doing

* Owning user experience - Take ownership of one or more parts of the user experience: mapping user journeys and designing interactions and interfaces.

* Creating UX designs - Create clear documentation (including UX design rules, paper and click-through prototypes) that fosters a delightful user experience.

* Researching UX - Support in user experience research and usability studies working alongside our UX Research team.

* Building knowledge across the team - Participate in regular design reviews and other team-wide design efforts as well as help drive the understanding and importance of UX across the organisation.

* Working across multiple projects- Execute against multiple work streams in a fast-paced, challenging environment and deliver sound, conceptually-based, iconic experiences.

* Documenting and sharing progress - Create and share documentation of UX progress, updates and findings within the team and across the organisation.

What you have done already / What you'll be good at

* Demonstrated experience in the field - 4-5 years of hands on experience with a range of UI/UX and interactive work and the accompanying portfolio of mobile digital experiences.

* Experience leading and managing -UX teams and mid to large size UX projects

* Knowing the tools - Strong with Axure, Omnigraffle, Balsamic, Sketch or other relevant tools.

* Conveying concepts - Strong Interaction design work: ability to convey concepts through wireframes, flows and mock-ups.

* A good understanding visual design- Comfort with working closely with the visual designers to develop a creative and rich visual language; on-screen graphic design, illustration and data visualization.

* Quick prototyping-Proficient in creating quick and dirty prototypes for web and/or mobile app experiences leading to high fidelity prototypes when necessary

* Technical understanding - Familiarity with development software and development processes.

* Managing your time - Must be self-motivated to prioritise and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.

* Solving problems- Strong problem-solving skills.

* Working in teams- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.

* Technical understanding - Familiarity with development software and development processes.

* Passionate about the field you work in - Strong interest in the latest design, UX and technology trends.
