Job Title: DevOps Manager

Daily Rate: £600 - £650

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 12 Months

Location: Cambridge

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps Manager based in Cambridge for a 12 month project. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the following area:

Building DevOps environment.

Building DevOps teams (Initial 8 engineers)

Mentoring DevOps Engineers

Exposure to Deployment/Network operation/Sysadmins

Experience form Application/infrastructure development

Global project implementation experience

Programme Management

Cloud Technologies

Agile methodologies

The Project

Our client is looking for the successful candidate to build DevOps department where the successful candidate would be responsible for implementing and training the team for the Global project. The role would encompass a detail build around their Service Architecture including Service Onboarding and Service introduction.

Essential Experience

*Consulting on the development side in the planning of test and deployment.

*Ability to accelerate the development change and development the DevOps Team

*Infrastructure experience

*Strong expertise in Application Developer background or a technical architect background

*Strong knowledge of Service Architecture including Service introduction, Service onborading and service Management.

*Building a DevOps Team looking to growing to 8 people initially the DevOps foundation team first and then implement change

*A passion for scripting and coding

*Strong knowledge of Design principles

*Cloud Technologies

*Global project experience

*Agile methodologies
