Junior Software Developer / Full Stack Developer (C# ASP.Net MVC JavaScript HTML5 SQL Server). Global leading clean energy provider is seeking a bright, enthusiastic Junior Software Developer / Full Stack Developer. Joining a first class software development team you will work closely with energy scientists to design and develop complex software applications to analyse and understand Renewable Energy data.
As a Junior Software Developer / Full Stack Developer you'll be joining a collaborative Agile Scrum development team utilising the .Net technology stack as well as web based technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 and Angular. Projects include site selection and feasibility analysis, analytics software to calculate the optimal design for a wind or solar farm, including predicating the energy production and economic viability of a site as well as asset management software to monitor and analyse performance.
This role presents an excellent opportunity as a Junior Software Developer / Full Stack Developer to work in an intellectually and technically challenging environment on something really worthwhile. You'll be based in beautiful offices in Hertfordshire with lots of space and a good work / life balance. Easily commutable from Hemel Hempstead, Watford, St. Albans, Kings Langley and also from London Euston.
Requirements:
*Degree educated, 2.1 in Computer Science or Engineering
*Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies including: C#, .Net, ASP.Net, SQL Server (and NoSQL databases ideally)
*Familiar with Front End technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 and Angular
*Familiar with Agile development methodologies (Scrum)
*Highly numerate with good mathematics skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Interest in environmental issues
