Senior Business Analyst

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to work on a Valuation Project with one of the UK's leading Banks. The role is based in London on an initial contract length of 3 months. Although the initial contract is for 3 months, the contract has a very high potential to go long past the initial contract on offer. The initial day rate on offer is between £450-550/day.

The successful candidate will undertake business analysis testing with SMEs and other appropriate stakeholders to test and deliver a solution to meet regulatory technical requirements.

The successful candidate will work with members of the project team (business and IT) to:

* Test data attributes needed to support the new calculations, perform analysis of data gaps against existing systems and agree golden sources of data where gaps exist

* Follow and assist in building test case scenarios to be used on testing

* Monitor the testing of various UAT drop phases to verify all business requirements are met before live production

* Ensure system requirements such as data inputs and data enrichment, calculation rules and logic, system outputs and controls are within user acceptance boundaries

Essential skill set / Experience:

* 5+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst within Financial Services

* Must have strong valuation experience

* Business Analyst with in-depth understanding and experience with compiling project lifecycle deliverables with a strong focus on TOM and testing

* Strong knowledge of testing

* Experience of Business Analysis on technical projects within Product Control, Valuations and/or Risk preferred

* Understanding of risk and technical product knowledge including IPV methods and sources preferably across all asset classes (Rates, Credit, FX, Commodities and Equities).

* Proven ability to manage end to end testing cycles
