Service Delivery Manager

12 month rolling - London

My client are a proven software and services vendor to the hedge fund and asset management industry. They are looking to recruit a Service Delivery Manager (SDM) as a full time position to be located on-site at one of the larger hedge funds in London.

The person would serve as the primary point of contact between supplier and hedge fund.

Engagement involves interaction with all departments / functions of the hedge fund.

Responsibilities include oversight of day to day operational process of the enterprise application software, as well as related business applications.

Primary responsibilities:

* Managing the overall operational SLA metrics and reporting associated with this agreement.

* Working closely with the hedge fund business and Head of IT Development and team on new development initiatives, requirements capture, and general technology related issues.

* Leading on-going process improvement / QA initiatives, including testing infrastructure and the release management process.

* Managing the day to day operational and quality assurance (QA) aspects of IT Development and Services

Essential experience:

* Extensive experience in relevant position

* Experience working within hedge funds

* Strong database foundation e.g. Oracle/ SQL Server developer background

* Business analysis experience within hedge funds

* Knowledge of OMS/EMS systems

The position reports into the Head of IT Development and CTO of the software firm.
