DV Security Architect - London/Hursley - 12 Month Contract: (Agile, Unix, Linux, Network Infrastructure, Windows, CISSP)

My client, a large IT outsourcing organisation are currently looking for a DV Cleared Security Architect to join them on a 12 month initial contract. The role will be based in the UK covering the Midlands and the South, the role will require a significant presence in London and Hursley. The role can offer a competitive daily rate and they are keen to get someone on site as soon as possible.

Role Information:

* The successful candidate will bring successful leadership experiences from across all CISSP domains as well as personal resilience a high capacity to maintain multiple concurrent streams of work, from board level stakeholder management, to detailed technical DevSecOps, business operational security assessment and leadership and security incident management on any given day.

* Lead the provision of technical IT security design

* Lead the assurance, through design and documentation review, that security requirements are being met

* Contribute to and write technical information security policy

* Collaborate with accreditation teams to explain the implications of security vulnerabilities and consequent risks and treatment options

* Partner with client security architecture teams to drive a common framework

* Help plan information security assessments of individual components and systems

* Provide technical security expertise to incident response teams

Experience/Background:

* Experience leading the secure architecture and information assurance of complex information system integrations and application developments

* Knowledge and experience of information security threat modelling techniques and risk assessment and treatment methods

* Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities in information systems and methods by which they are exploited and treated

* Knowledge or experience of software engineering/development/programming

* Knowledge and experience of Agile software development principles and methods

* Knowledge and experience of DevSecOps methods, including but not limited to automated security testing

* Knowledge and experience of at least two of the following: Unix/Linux, network infrastructure, Microsoft Windows

* CISSP or similar qualification or experience

* Candidates should also hold an active DV Clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the process.
