A Quant developer position has become readily available within a global bank based in London.

Working as part of their Quant team, you will be working on the design and development of the banks electronic trading framework and exploring new ways to manage exposure to risk. As well as this, you will be gathering key requirements from traders and front office personnel to deliver innovative solutions and raise capital.

Additionally, you will have the freedom to execute newly created solutions from scratch and the opportunity to work with the research e-teams on new and exciting business initiatives.

Typical Duties:

* Exploring new technologies and methods

* Developing the quality of production release cycles

* Working with front office and e-research teams

* Conducting and improving test strategies on raising capital

Basic Requirements:

* 2-3 years programming experience

* Programming experience with C++ and/or JAVA

* Master's in one of the following or related disciplines; Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Physics

* Debugging exposure

Desired Requirements

* PhD in a computing or related discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics)

* Financial market knowledge

* Collaborative approach to team work
