Solaris 11 or Redhat, Sendmail/Proofpoint, Bluecoat SG Proxy, Esxi, McAfee Web Gateway and either Cisco, Juniper firewalls or Palo Alto firewalls.

My client a leading telecoms organisation are seeking an SC Cleared 3rd Line Support professional to join their existing team of multi skilled specialists who are responsible for the end to end delivery of customer service on secure and non-secure services contracts.

The successful candidate will be tasked with providing effective support of projects, operational support tasks and dealing with all relevant technical issues. They will provide support in the formulation of network, technology, systems and information strategy and evolution plans, and operational support policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Fulfilling Systems Administration tasks

* Resolving allocated incidents and logging all incident resolution activity

* Performing the necessary performance tuning

* Organising upgrades and necessary patching

* Updating configuration management records

* Undertaking problem management

* Supplier Management to resolve incidents

* Supporting the delivery of special projects

* Follow security procedures

Key Skills Required:

* A valid SC clearance

* Basic Networking knowledge

* A working knowledge of each of the following (expert in one area)

* Solaris 11

* Redhat

* Sendmail/Proofpoint

* Bluecoat SG Proxy

* Esxi

* McAfee Web Gateway.

* Desirable working knowledge of each of the following

* Cisco

* Juniper firewalls,

* Palo Alto firewalls
