For our client located in Düsseldorf, we are currently looking for three SAP Basis Consultants for a big datacenter move.

Start: 09.10.2017

End: 01.02.2019

Duration: 16 months fulltime

Location: Dusseldorf, remote partly possible

Language: English (must have), German (desirable)

Project Description:

The client conducted a RfP for global datacenter services. There will be a transition from the incumbent Datacenter supplier to the new one to shift all applications and services. The transition project is estimated to last around 18 months. Based on the results and definitions of the associated transition streams like architecture, governance, the execution team has to move the around 1500 applications and services to the new environment. This includes SAP, NonSAP, Domino applications based on Linux and Windows.

Task Description:

Consult our SAP Stream Lead in designing our future SAP landing platform for our various SAP systems. Analyze and rate the proposed provider solutions based on our outsourcing contract. Conduct gap analysis's and support our QA team in ensuring the expected quality for migrated applications and solutions.

Experience (min 3 years) with / in

* Datacenter Transition projects (change of provider) with focus on move of SAP infrastructure of big companies (> 100 SAP systems)

* SAP Basis Consultant with experience in heterogeneous SAP system copies

* Knowledge of interfaces to SAP systems

* preferable project experience with IBM & T-Systems

* provider management (SAP, Client / Server, Infrastructure)

* work in international projects

* Project organization / schedule + minutes + actions -> writing, tracking, acting

* works independently, strong communicational skills

* general understanding of component based application / system architecture

* analyze platform designs and identify gaps (GAP analysis)

* document architectural designs, decisions and definitions
