Performance Analyst - 6 Months - Warminster

As performance analyst you will use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance I&RM processes. You will be responsible for assembling data, analysing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support planning and operations.

Main Tasks:

* Support the Performance Manager in reporting and maintaining delivery performance standards across I&RM.

* Report I&RM performance indicators as directed.

* Support the performance manager in creating and managing a I&RM performance dashboard.

* Act as the Management Information System (MIS) expert, working with stakeholders to data mine, data analysis, populate performance indicator reports and dashboards.

* Create and maintain MIS reports based upon I&RM requirements.

* Embed MIS reporting into I&RM functional teams.

* Provide advice, support and training in relation to improving I&RM performance.

* Support Project Managers with data and MIS information as required.

* Support the Performance Manager in refining performance metrics across I&RM.

* Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals as required.

* Support I&RM staff in the the delivery and development of performance processes and reporting.

Technical Experience:

* Strong understanding of performance analyst principles, tools and techniques, evidenced through extensive practical experience.

* Strong understanding in the use of MIS for monitoring, reporting and improving performance across a multi-disciplinary business.

* Excellent organisational skills and expertise in managing and reporting performance across a large organisation.

* Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience of developing performance indicators, performance reporting and presenting findings in a clear and simple format.

* Collaborative working skills, facilitation and mentoring skills as evidenced through operating in a performance management environment.

* Driving licence

* Demonstrable knowledge of Defence structures, processes and procedures

Desirable Skills:

* Demonstrate the ability to manage resources, in both a line and networked environment, for a minimum of 2 years in the last 4 years.

* Proven experience of operational delivery in a complex, time critical environment.

* Proven performance analyst record across the supply chain.

* Able to work closely with all relevant stakeholders.

* Ability to relate to both client and customer needs at all levels with respect to operational delivery requirements.
