Front End Developer / Web Developer required to join technology company developing new range of video analysis devices with a modern tech stack on a range of platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Front End Developer / Web Developer with at least 3 years of commercial experience to work on the productisation of world leading intelligent intrusion and detection devices used in a range of industries around the world.

You should have extensive commercial experience with HTML / CSS and JavaScript, and at least one major framework such as Angular.Js, React.JS and some experience with Node.js and NPM. You will join a team working on a tech stack that consists of modern C++, gstreamer and python on Linux at the back end, with Polymer and HTML5 web interface at the front- end. The team operates and agile SCRUM methodology with code reviews, continuous integration and distributed version control.

This Front End Developer / Web Developer will lead the development of the products web interface. Currently in Google Polymer it needs some attention to improve and build the web development capabilities. There is a lot of scope to work with a capable and supportive team - you will report to the CTO - and take responsibility to build an exceptional web interface for a product which uses AI and Machine Learning to detect and track object with game changing accuracy.

The Front End Developer / Web Developer should have excellent communication skills and a strong educational background. Your commercial experience should demonstrate your skills and experience with HTML5 / CSS and JS as well as work with Angular, React or similar. This role is with a 10 year old company well established in their field and backed with multiple funding and research grants from the UK and EU.
