SharePoint Designer/Developer - South East England - 6 Month Contract £300-£400

My client is currently seeking a SharePoint Designer/Developer to support them on initial 6 months contract role.

My clients digital solutions provides a well-established Microsoft SharePoint service for staff intranet, web publishing, document collaboration and information management tasks for approximately 2500 users. A project to develop and deliver an Information Security and Assurance Portal within the SharePoint intranet is required, linking or revising existing data sets, introducing workflow processes, and providing a common look/feel to other functional areas within the intranet.

Responsibilities

General content remediation work on the SharePoint platform:

* Agile but methodical approach to SharePoint development

* Redesign activities for SP2013 (post and pre migration changes)

* Style, layout and formatting changes according to best practices, established guidelines, and Accessibility standards

* SharePoint Designer knowledge

* Web part fixes

* List, view and filter recreation / design

* Nested table recreation / design

* General content clean up

* SharePoint workflow or Nintex workflow skills

* Sufficient customer focused skills to support early life stages of the SharePoint deliverables into the live environment

* Assist with SharePoint system administration, where necessary

* Provide knowledge transfer to SharePoint team members as required and any necessary documentation.

* Front-end and back-end development expertise

Although primarily focused on the build of a new SharePoint landing page, some existing content may reside within our SharePoint 2010 service (including Alternative Rendering Framework site content), therefore the ability to support / develop a migration approach for the staff intranet would also be desirable:

* Content redesign activities

* Page layout redesign
