We are currently looking to recruit an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst for a Public Sector client of ours based in Ashton-Under-Lyne.

This particular contract is part-time and the successful Service Desk Analyst will be required to work Monday-Wednesday per week ONLY.

This particular role is inside IR35 therefore it will be necessary to utilise an Umbrella Company for this assignment.

The agreed daily rate will be £100.

My client is looking for someone who can respond to telephone calls and emails, provide a first line fix e.g. a password reset, updating the service desk system and escalating any calls that fall outside the remit of the service desk closing off calls as applicable. They want someone with excellent communication and customer service skills who can build up a good rapport with customers over the phone and has a professional manner.

Knowledge of ITIL or experience of working in an ITIL environment is highly desirable.
