An industry leading company are seeking an IT Onsite Support Analyst to join their team in Frankfurt, Germany. Do you have experience of providing 1st and 2nd level IT On-site Support to user communities? If so, then you may be the Support Analyst we're looking for.
What will you be doing?
As IT Onsite Support Analyst, you will be a key member of a team that provides operations and customer support. You will be responsible for providing first and second line support, proactively taking ownership of IT Support issues as they relate to specific sites as defined by the Regional Site Support Manager, taking ownership of Desktop equipment, Video Conferencing, Audio Visual and Telephony issues in each site, promptly analysing and resolving any issues encountered to around 900+ end users.
This role will primarily be based in Frankfurt, Germany but currently requires 60% travel to 8 offices across Germany and 2 in Switzerland. There is a currently objective to reduce this to 30% over the next 1.5 years.
What skills should you have?
* Experience of 3-5 in a previous IT role (Operations or Customer Support role)
* Excellent customer support and communication skills
* Hands-on support of Cat-5/6 structured cabling, Intel PC systems, Microsoft Office and BackOffice products, and Microsoft Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 at a minimum.
* Broad familiarity with IT technologies, including operating systems, relational databases, wide-area and local-area networking, the Internet and telecommunications.
* German speaking but this is not essential
