Our client, a leading Law Firm, are looking for a Network & Security Analyst to join their growing team and manage their firewall estate, lead implementation and maintenance of numerous security tools and work with the business to ensure security.
Key Responsibilities for the Network & Security Analyst
- You will be primarily responsible for managing and maintaining the organisations firewalls
- You will be primarily responsible for managing and maintaining local and wide area networks
- You will be primarily responsible for managing and maintaining perimeter security
- You will be primarily responsible for managing and maintaining threat protection systems
- You will contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Lead in resolving IT networking and security issues, deploying new services and equipment as requested and authorised.
- Acting as a 3rd line escalation point working in an ITIL environment
- Leading and supporting administration of various systems
- Monitor security of all technology
Skills & Experience required for the Network & Security Analyst
- Strong understanding of enterprise Information Security and security accreditation such as: ISO27001, DPA, Cyber Essentials+
- Knowledge and experience working with Check Point firewalls
- Experienced in using Cloud technologies and security
- Experienced in using SIEM tools
- Certifications in CCNA, CCNP, CASP, SSCP, EC-Council CEH, CISCO Security or CISM/CISSP, Check Point Certified Security Administrator desirable
- Cisco networking, network design, implementation and support (router, switches & firewalls)
- Broad knowledge of Information Security practices.
- Network security and penetration testing
- Security (firewall, vulnerability assessments, PKI, IDS/IPS, detection/prevention methods)
- Exceptional analytical and documentation skills
