The Role

Magento Developer | A unique opportunity has just arisen for an experienced Magento developer to join an established Digital Agency within Cornwall.

This company is looking for soemone to assist in their movement to the next level, for someone to get involved with all current and new projects. They are looking for somene who will also integrate into a team well and be able to take control of new projects.

Responsibilities/duties

Within the remit of the specific project, the post holder will be required to:

1 Collaborate with our UI/UX and PM functions to deliver quality sites.

2 Have the ability to autonomously complete user stories/epics specifically around responsive web design

3 Have the ability to provide a PM with accurate time estimations

4 Collaborate in daily stands and sprint retrospectives

5 Ensure that the project's technical lead receives the best possible technical solutions and that those solutions fully meet the client objective

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be judged on the basis of the following criteria, and should ensure that their application shows how they meet these criteria:

1 Certified Magento Developer preferred (Magento Front End a bonus)

2 3 - 5 years' experience with complex Magento and PHP projects

3 PHP coding, SQL administration and optimization, and Unix/Linux

4 Competency with related web technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML

5 Working knowledge of LAMP/LEMP server configuration

6 Superior interpersonal and communication skills

7 Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities

8 Skilled at collaborating with team members

9 Flexible and able to deal with frequently shifting priorities

Desirable

1 Knowledge of other open source web development platforms, specifically Drupal and WordPress.

2 Knowledge of tools used - JIRA, Jenkins, MTF

3 Agency Experience

4 AWS, Azure Cloud Infrastructures and deployment pipelines.
