AS400 / RPG ILE Free Format Analyst Programmer - Yorkshire

A flexible hours opportunity has arisen with one of our client partners based in Yorkshire. They seek an experienced AS400 RPG Free Format Analyst Programmer to join them on a permanent basis. The company specialises in a wide range of insurance products and require your expertise to assist them in maintaining and upgrading current systems whilst also providing support to users across the business. You will be experienced with the AS400 and specifically:

* RPG ILE - free format

* Embedded SQL

* Service Programs

* Activation groups

* Memory pointers

* CLLE

The main responsibilities for the role include:

* Maintain and upgrade existing bespoke computer system

* Work with users to design new system or changes to current system

* Support of the operators in all areas

* Analysis and programming of work on the computer system

* Support of all users with the computer system
