I am working with an exciting software house based in the heart of Central London. As the result of a successful 2016 this company is focusing their attention on growth and the current target is the DevOps team.

My client is working with cutting edge technology that is being used by the likes of Netflix and Amazon and this will be an opportunity to expand your knowledge on the next generation tools that would shape the future of DevOps and cloud platforms

I am looking for experienced DevOps Engineer with a passion for delivering reliable and highly scalable infrastructure to meet with the demands of global customers.

As a DevOps Engineer you would be expected to display a knowledge of Linux, Cloud Platform, Google Cloud Platforms, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Python, Bash

You will have a desire to learn new skills and work among a creative and diverse team.

You will also assist develops and take ownership of troubleshooting issues to ensure the consistent running of the system.

What you will be doing:

- You will assist with scaling cloud architecture to meet customer demand

- Working with next generation distributed application and micro-services architecture

- Assisting with the quick and reliable release of systems

- Provisioning and configuring infrastructure

- Monitoring cloud platforms

- Troubleshooting system issues with a sense of ownership

What you will bring to the team:

- Expert knowledge of Linux systems

- Strong cloud platform skills using Google Cloud Platform or AWS

- An understanding of containerization using Docker Swarm or Kubernetes is essential

- Excellent DevOps knowledge using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef or similar

- Exposure to Golang, Nodejs or Python

- Commercial experience of scaling databases

- Shell scripting knowledge
