UX Developer / Designer.

Locations - Flexible.

6 Months initially.

£480 - £500 per day.

We have an on-going recruitment campaign with a great client for UX Developers / Designers. Locations are flexible as are start dates. Some really interesting and exciting programmes of work are available.

Who you'll be working with:

The Digital Experience Delivery team produce web platforms for enterprise clients, providing complex solutions in content management, digital marketing, and e-commerce. Primarily working with Open Source software, the team are first and foremost engineers, putting Software Engineering and professionalism at the heart of delivery.

The focus of your role:

For us, the true user experience comprises of a product that is useful, easy to use and beautifully designed. We are looking for a user experience designer with a mix of skills to deliver just that. Awesomeness. We represent the new breed of consultants that bring the flair and delight to the corporate world. We work with MacBook Pros, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, InVision, Axure, and the Shutterstock library. And before you ask, you are not required to wear a suit, but smart enough to leave a slick lasting "design" impression.

What you'll do:

* You deliver great user experiences that are useful (doing the right thing), easy to use (doing it right), beautiful and on brand (appealing).

* You are a designer at heart, with a keen eye for beautiful and on brand design and user interfaces.

* Your designs are based on customer insights and requirements learned from workshops you run with users, clients and stakeholders.

* You iterate your ideas and designs until you have achieved a good balance between technical constraints, business requirements and user needs.

* Technically minded, perhaps you coded websites in HTML/CSS and responsive too. As a result you gained an appreciation of how things are built, allowing you to be at ease with developers, listening, learning, debating and articulating your design decisions.

What you'll bring:

* Able to research and uncover insights to drive design.

* Solid experience as a UX designer with fantastic visual and UI skills.

* Demonstrable experience of Mobile and Web: Responsive and Native apps.

* Skills cover Graphics Design, UI design and Information Architecture.

* Experience of working in agile teams and working in an agile manner in a commercial environment.

* Working with both clients and developers to bring your designs to life, balancing technical constraints, business requirements and user needs.

* Facilitation of client workshops in order to gather requirements and evolve your designs.

* Experience of UX tooling, specifically Sketch, InVision, and Photoshop.

As an example, some of our team members work four days a week, but travel across the UK during their working days. Or you might prefer to work three days a week (in a job share scenario) with travel limited to Greater London.
