ASP.Net MVC C# Javascript HTML CSS JQuery REST APIs SQL Wordpress SharePoint

Working closely with the firms Innovation Director, this role will give you the opportunity to take ownership of web projects from concept through to completion.

Ability to demonstrate strong ASP.net MVC development skills, you will help my client design, develop, test and maintain a diverse range of online tools for use in the Accounting sector.

Being pro-active and articulate, you will relish the challenge of taking a challenging brief from a project owner and devising a system using the .NET Framework that will enable an improved online experience to both staff and clients.

KEY DELIVERABLES

Design - to take a specification and design a system and that can function as required and integrate with our other systems where necessary.

Development - to develop systems based on the approved design as leanly and efficiently as possible, taking on board feedback and changes from project owners.

Testing - Produce a testing plan and liaise with a group of testers to ensure the tools are working as expected and ready for general release.

Maintenance Plans - To work closely with our IT department to develop any required maintenance plans which will ensure that systems continue to run effectively.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Proven development skills with the ability to design solutions that are fit for purpose and straightforward.

Experience of working with ASP.Net, MVC, C#, Javascript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, REST and other APIs.

A strong working knowledge of SQL Server 2008 (and above) as well as IIS/Web Server technologies.

Knowledge of SharePoint and Wordpress would be desirable.

INDIVIDUAL CRITERIA

-An excellent communicator (both oral and written word) who possesses confident interpersonal skills.

-A creative developer experienced in C# ASP.NET MVC with a passion for producing high quality code.

-Able to work well in autonomous environment with a desire to keep up to date with changes in web and software technology.
