Excellent role on offer for a CAD draughtsperson looking to join a leading company on a long term contract position, working on highly recognised projects across the UK.

Do you have experience using Autocad to produce detailed drawings? Are you looking to work for a prestigious, growing company on a long term contract role with the potential for future opportunities?

My Client are a large and growing utilities provider and due to an ever growing workload they are recruiting a CAD draughtsperson to provide support to their current team, to produce detailed drawings using CAD software and hardware.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD draughtsperson to start a long term contract role which offers an exciting, positive work environment and future opportunities.

The Role:

- To produce detailed drawings for issue to Contractors, Developers, Auditors and internal staff using the company CAD software and hardware.

- To scale or re-scale maps using reference sources & the interpretation of other utility maps to create new records.

- The use of printing, copying and scanning equipment to assist in the process of creating and maintaining accurate and up to data records.

The Person:

- Good communications (written & verbal), numeracy and IT skills are important, as is the ability to work as part of a team

- Attention to detail is essential for accurate records as is working well under pressure and to tight deadlines

- Minimum CAD requirement: AutoCAD experience (within the past 3 years)

GIS knowledge is an advantage.
