Lead Developer / Senior Developer
PHP, LAMP, GO, AWS

We are working with a global leader in digital advertising technology to find a skilled and technically gifted Senior Developer and/or Technical Lead.
The company is a highly successful digital technology specialist with circa 40 employees managing and developing complex real-time trading platforms used by some the world's largest digital media companies.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and talented programmer to carve future technology and innovation within a market leading company.
You will be:
* An expert in your field, a technology thought leader and a walking-talking knowledge base who can be called upon to help with key decision making and the evolution of codebase and best practice.
* Able to demonstrate a passion for software engineering & development, a breadth of experience across PHP, Cloud (AWS) technologies, JavaScript and modern development processes.
* Fully engaged with technology through Github, user groups, press, blogs etc to enable you to lead the company on tech roadmap, strategic decisions and innovation.
* A line manager, coach and mentor to a team(s) of talented software engineers.
* A strong team worker and contribute to our 'one team' culture - high levels of cooperation and communication.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* 3-5 years in a Senior Developer or Technical Lead level role
* Expert working knowledge of PHP and general all-round web development.
* Expert knowledge of JavaScript
* Experience with public cloud solutions such as GCP and AWS.
* Experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
* Familiarity with Docker and containers.
* Knowledge of Go.
* Natural ability to delegate based on the skill sets of those that you are leading.
* Ultimately responsible that all developers in your team are adhering to the software quality standards.
* Experienced in leading others, as you have line management qualifications and/or practiced skills.
* Ability to lead key systems / applications within the team; holding yourself accountable for performance, stability and potential improvements.
