Our client is in the market for a talented candidate with a genuine passion for technology and the zealously to continue to progress their knowledge in PHP and web development. The candidate will be joining a team within a well-established agency. The role is based in a tightly knit, team focused environment where the candidate can enjoy a varied working life, working on a selection of bespoke and challenging projects utilising PHP amongst other technologies such as Symfony or Drupal.
The role:
On a day to day basis you will responsible for…
*Specifying and designing solutions that meet the needs of a client
*Building and maintaining those solutions in a fast moving, agency environment
*Understanding and digesting client requirements and advising producers by cogently feeding back what is both achievable and technically possible
*Scheduling your own workload based on current and future projects
The requirements:
The client's ideal candidate is required to have…
*Demonstrable experience with PHP
*Knowledge of MVC frameworks (preferably Symfony)
*Good core knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and Javascript
*An understanding of SQL, XML and NoSQL
*Knowledge around the creation and maintenance of web services
*Experience of end to end product development
*Proven experience with troubleshooting principles and issue resolution techniques
*Any knowledge of Drupal 7/8 is also of benefit
