Job Title: Web Designer / Front-End Developer

Location: Bartlow, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.

The company is a leading provider of clinical information to the global veterinary market, and a producer of web based solutions for veterinary clinics in the UK.

Veterinary professionals in more than 50 countries, including around 35% of UK small animal practices, use their Internet based services.

They are now looking for a Web Designer/Front-End Developer to join their team in Bartlow, Cambridgeshire. They offer a competitive salary with a performance related quarterly bonus (uncapped), providing a great opportunity to increase earnings. The successful candidate will be responsible the building & design of both the websites and the websites of their clients.

The Candidate:

You should be comfortable building responsive, accessible websites using HTML5 and CSS. You should have some JavaScript programming experience (not just jQuery) and understand the principles of progressive enhancement.

We're ideally looking for someone with at least 5 years digital experience.

Key Requirements:

* HTML5/CSS.

* Good understanding of web standards, progressive enhancement and accessibility.

* JavaScript programming experience.

* Responsive web development.

* Comfortable using graphics software (Photoshop CC) to manipulate photos and prepare graphics for the web.

* Good communication skills.

* Attention to detail.

Desirable Requirements:

* Familiarity with Kentico CMS.

* Some C# experience (not essential).

* Knowledge of Front End Frameworks such as Bootstrap and Pure.

* Knowledge of BEM (Block Element Modifier) methodology.
