The company is part of a global business serving 15,000 customers with almost 800 staff deployed. They specialise in supply chain management, with a suite of warehouse management, business integration, transportation management and retail/DSD solutions.

Their Coventry office is located within the Westwood Business Park, in Canley.

There is free on-site parking, and they are within walking distance of the Tile Hill railway station.

What are they looking for?

The company is looking for an experienced software developer to join their growing Software Support & Services team, which is responsible for supporting their core application software (called OneTime). The role involves solving live issues and designing and coding solutions to support new client implementations and existing client enhancement requests.

As a member of this team you will be using our full technology stack (incl. GRAILS, Groovy, Java, JQuery, JSON, SQL, iSeries RPG), within an Agile environment.

You are creative and innovative, but equally appreciate this is a fast-paced environment requiring the need to focus and efficiently manage your time to meet deadlines. You are customer-focused, and appreciate that we must consistently deliver high-quality standard code within the agreed schedule, in order to provide the high-quality service their clients expect of them.

They are looking for an effective communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills, and the ability to follow existing standards and working procedures.

Knowledge of their technology stack is desirable, although not essential, as they will provide any necessary training for the right candidate.
