As our PMO Manager, you will make sure that our systems and processes are best in class, using data to drive delivery, manage risk and identify opportunities.

Job Purpose

To ensure GBSLEP achieves the targets set out in the Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) by enabling the successful delivery of supporting capital projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the PMO to ensure that effective support is provided to all project and programme managers.

- Day to day responsibility for the management of GBSLEP’s Programme Management Systems, ensuring they remain fit for purpose.

- Ensuring accurate and timely monitoring data is collected on all projects within the LEP Programmes

- Ensuring that, in line with GBSLEP’s Assurance Framework, a full audit trail of documents is maintained for each project as it passes through the seven stage gateways.

- Analysing and interpreting data within the LEP Programmes to ensure the smooth running of those Programmes, especially around change requests, risk and issue management.

- Ensuring comprehensive and timely reporting/monitoring of projects and programmes to the Programme Team, Programme Delivery Board, LEP Board, BEIS, and other stakeholders as appropriate.

- Processing grant claims, ensuring that all necessary supporting information is provided and retained for audit purposes.

- Supporting the Programme Manager in ensuring that Programme and Project Management processes are rigorously followed.

- Supporting the Programme Manager in ensuring effective performance and governance arrangements are in place for the delivery of programmes and projects.
