Proteus Europe is searching for a Test Coach for a 8 month contract based in Brussels, Belgium.

Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for delivering on projects with their consultancy customers. You will join and be part of their team to ensure this current project is a complete success.

Your New role :-

The test consultant advises and supports the optimal practice of test methods,

test techniques and test support tools to project member (in test role or not).

In this way he/she helps set up test projects and outlines the test strategy. He enthuses clients and project members with the goal to improve the test approach within the projects and the organization.

Tasks, Responsibilities and Authorities

- Advise on test planning, test organization, and test infrastructure

- Advise on and support for applying test methods, techniques and test support tools

- Advise on applying automated testing

- Advise on reuse of testware

- Advise on various inspection techniques

- Testing of and feedback on the usability of test methods, test techniques and test support tools

- Stimulate collecting, analyzing and distributing of data (metrics) in projects and the organization

- Suppot test leaders with setting up the test plan and test reports

Your Skills and experience :-

Essential Skills :-

Work experience

- At least 5 year experience as test analyst

- Experience in a leading role is desirable

Higher education or equivalent by experience

- IT Related study

- ICT Knowledge:

- Familiar with development methods

- Knowledge of system design techniques (Functional and Technical Design)

- Knowledge of ITIL® Processes

- Experience with Prince2™ as a project management method

- Experience with Test Support Roles

- Familiar with Quality Assurance, Risk Management and prototyping

Technical Knowledge

- Thorough knowledge of and experience of test methods, techniques and test support tools

- Ability to combine theory and pragamatisme

- Very thorough knowledge of and experience with and ability to use test methods, test techniques and support tools.

- Practical experience with applying test process improvement methods

- Practical experience with moderating group inspections

- Practical experience with performing audits on testplans

- Practical experience with applying concepts for automated testing

- Practical experience with use of test navigation support tools

- Practical experience with advising on subjects mentioned above
