My Client is a large construction firm who are URGENTLY looking for a freelance quantity surveyor to join their busy commercial team in Somerset on a 3 year contract basis. The position is offering a 38 hour week Monday- Thursday and a competitive daily rate.

They are involved with a variety of projects but you will be working on the Hinckley point Nuclear Decommissioning project. The role is entirely post-contract and will include:

* Post-contract administration

* Maintaining daily labour records and monitoring payments

* Client facing role- weekly discussions with client

* Dealing with compensation/ claims

* Reporting and forecasting on project financials

The essential experience required is:

* 5 years minimum experience as a QS

* Construction experience: Deplanting, asbestos removal and demolition

* NEC 3 Contract Experience (Option C ideally but other forms will be considered)

The beneficial experience is:

* Nuclear sector experience
