Senior SoC Integration Engineer - North Hampshire

An exciting opportunity for a Senior SoC Integration Engineer has arisen with our client; an established high-tech company based within in the Thames Valley/Hampshire area.

This is an interesting opportunity to join a 'start-up' style team within an established company. In this role you will be developing sophisticated SoCs enabling a huge range of devices to communicate via satellite. The SoC Integration Engineer will be responsible for integrating all SoC subsystems and intellectual properties at the chip top-level.

Responsibilities will include:

*IP integration: Able to follow IP integration guidelines, both physical and functional

*Floor planning: Be involved with chip-level floorplan considering IP and package constraints

*Integration checks: Perform all necessary IP and subsystem integration checks

*Network-on-chip: Define and drive the creation of a network-on-chip

*Clock and reset distribution: Plan and develop the clock and reset distribution strategy

*DFT insertion: Be involved with the DFT insertion process

*ASIC sign-off: Be involved with all aspects of the ASIC sign-off procedure

Required:

The successful candidate will be degree-qualified in computer science/electronic engineering, and have practical experience of at least one chip tape-out with a good understanding of the backend implementation flow.

Desired Skills:

*Experience in SoC design and familiarity with common bus and peripheral protocols

*Verilog experience

*Experience with synthesis and STA

*Knowledge of DFT and MBIST insertion flows

*Practical experience working with advanced process nodes
