The Learning and Teaching Innovation (LTI) Portfolio, led by Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Hazel Rymer, supports the University's strategic vision and plan to increase student success through improved learning and teaching by driving forward, and leading on, digital innovation. The primary purpose of the Portfolio is to work closely with the University’s four faculties and the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research and Academic Strategy) to deliver state of the art learning and teaching to part time learners, and those studying with us through partners.

We are looking for an inspiring, creative and talented developer to join our team. In collaboration with other areas of the University and partner institutions, you will be responsible for carrying out web and software development and support for the Early Alert Indicators project, developing software which enables the prediction of student performance and supports our goal of improving student retention.

You will be able to work through the whole software development life-cycle from project initiation through to product delivery. You must be flexible, adaptable and skilled in working as part of a team. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills and understand user interface design requirements for a range of new and emerging platforms and services.
