Job Title: IT Senior Project Manager (Permanent)

Location: West London

We are currently working with a fast moving, diverse and forward thinking Global Transport Infrastructure operator/provider looking to grow their internal Project Management Team.

In particular, our client is currently looking to appoint an IT Senior Project Manager.

Role:

Reporting to the IT Programme Leader this role is accountable for delivering against one or more of their major strategic IT Programmes, these project values are from £5Million to £30Million plus.

The work is incredibly diverse and our client is looking for leaders who will impact the successful delivery of these projects and more, and in doing so become an agent for change.

If you think out loud, want to do what is best for the company and what is not necessarily popular, this is an excellent path to hone your transformation skills and to advance your career and reputation.

Leading a team of 5-6 direct reports, predominantly supplier project teams initially, and large virtual teams, you will be accountable for:

- Establishing the case for Change

- Commercial Management

- Governance and Project control

- Project reporting to Director Level Stakeholders.

Skills/Experience:

- Educated to a degree level or equivalent

- Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, P3 or APM

- Previous experience of holding positions of authority in Project Delivery within a complex multinational organisation

- Experience of delivery through external suppliers/delivery partners

- Experience of supplier management VFM (Value for Money)

- Good leadership and managerial experience, demonstrate the leadership skills needed to handle Innovation, Transformation and Change

- Senior Stakeholder Management is very important for this position
