Lead Developer | Newcastle-upon-Tyne | £35,000Progression into Technical Lead Working as part of the digital team, you will be responsible for leading the build of websites from the ground up, management of existing sites and digital projects, and ad-hoc additional development. Working in collaboration with clients and colleagues, you will be involved throughout all stages of the web design and development process. Responsibilities:Working closely with Directors to ensure projects run smoothlyLiaising with clients and providing consultation Support with the technical direction of new projectsMaintaining and updating existing sites and projectsMeet deadlinesSupport junior members of the development teamTechnical skills and experience required:HTML5/CSS3.CSS & CSS frameworks (Bootstrap).JS (jQuery/ES6 JavaScript).Extensive WordPress experience.Knowledge of Drupal, Magento, October CMS etc.Development and testing of responsive websites.Knowledge of Linux administration, Apache configuration and MySQL database administration.PHP - with a strong grasp of OOP.L)Knowledge of MVC frameworks (Laravel/Symfony/CodeIgniter)An understanding of best practices for SEOWorking knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI best practicesThe ability to handle several tasks simultaneouslyDesirable skills:Experience with AWSExposure to Zero-downtime deployment platformsjs or ReactSo What Next?If this is an opportunity that genuinely interests you, and you believe that you've got what it takes to be a successful candidate, I would be more than happy to arrange a conversation with you to discuss this further.You can call me on 0191 338 7614.
