As an IT Systems Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our technological advancements, ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure. Your duties will include:

  • Working alongside the Systems Administrator in managing the day-to-day administration of the Emanuel School Network

About you

To thrive in this position, you must demonstrate robust expertise in Windows/Mac desktops, Windows 10/11, and proficiency in AV configurations. Profound competence in mobile device support for iOS and Android, along with experience in LAN, Wi-Fi, Active Directory, and Azure, is essential.

You will also possess the skills for configuring, installing, and troubleshooting network printers and scanners. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative, enabling effective support and inspiration for both staff and students.

Working at Emanuel

Colleagues enjoy working at Emanuel and, like the pupils, are ambitious for the school, delivering a challenging curriculum and an exciting co-curricular programme.

There's a strong sense of community and friendship amongst our staff. An open dialogue about the school's aims and direction of travel is maintained with a weekly pre-school briefing, half-termly staff meetings, termly consultative group meetings and a dynamic common room committee.

Emanuel works hard to look after its employees, who all benefit from good pension provision and free lunches. Our appraisal scheme focuses on professional development and we sponsor postgraduate courses and a range of training opportunities. Staff wellbeing is extremely important to us: a healthcare plan via Simply Health that includes counselling and medical support is offered to all staff; staff yoga, football and mindfulness meditation are amongst the weekly activities colleagues can participate in.
