Unity Audio Engineer - Spatial Audio Integration
Contract (Days Worked, Days Paid) / Remote (Europe) / 3-6 Month Initial Term
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Audio Engineer to join in the role of Unity Audio Engineer, with a focus on spatial audio integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio programming, experience with spatial audio technologies, proficiency in FMOD, and a solid understanding of C# programming within the Unity environment.
- Spatial Audio Integration: Design and implement spatial audio solutions to enhance immersive experiences within Unity projects.
- 3D Audio Implementation: Develop and integrate 3D audio systems to create realistic and dynamic soundscapes in virtual environments.
- FMOD Integration: Utilise FMOD Studio to create interactive and adaptive audio systems, seamlessly integrating them into Unity applications.
- C# Programming: Write clean and efficient C# code to handle audio logic, events, and interactions within Unity projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including game developers, artists, and designers to ensure cohesive integration of audio elements into the overall project.
- Proven experience in audio programming for Unity projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing spatial audio implementations.
- Proficiency in FMOD Studio and a deep understanding of its capabilities for interactive audio design.
- Solid programming skills in C# and experience implementing audio systems using Unity's scripting API.
- Familiarity with industry-standard audio tools and technologies, staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in spatial audio.
- Experience with VR/AR audio implementation.
- Understanding of game development workflows and pipelines.
