EDU Function Control Lead Engineer

We're on the lookout for an experienced EDU Function Control Lead Engineer to be the driving force behind the integration of our Next Generation Electric Drive Units (EDU) in our cutting-edge Battery Electric Vehicle projects.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Perform system performance modelling, integration, and assessment 

• Ensure system acceptance criteria are met 

• Work with system components and their control strategies 

• Collaborate with the inverter software development team to ensure that the inverter SW meets EDU system or subsystem requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Good relevant experience in Drive Systems Engineering 

• Experience working with the inverter, 3-phase electric motor, and transmission systems 

• Knowledge of cooling and lubrication system components, e.g., pump, HEX, sensors, and their control strategies 

• Strong understanding of the subsystems (cooling, park lock, electric motor, etc.) requirements for electric drive units
