Technical Support OfficerSalary: £46,000- £48,000Location: Kent (flexible hybrid working model)Incredible employer pension contribution, flexible/hybrid working, 25 to 30 days annual leave I'm currently working with a forward-thinking public sector body to hiring a Technical Support Officer to join a well run, established team to take there IT team forward with upgrades and projects planned for the near future! This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced 2nd/3rd line specialist with networking & firewall knowledge who is looking to work for a great cause to develop their skills with great benefits.
As the Technical Support Officer you will be part of a help desk dealing with inbound tickets throughout the organisation ranging form hardware to networking over the phone and face to face and be heavily involved in implementing technical solutions to improve business operations. The Technical Support Officer will benefit from a very strong work-life balance that includes flexible, autonomy in a hybrid model and great opportunities for training and development.
Skills required for the Technical Support Officer are:- Knowledge & Understanding of Window Server, Microsoft Exchange, VMWare, Networking, Firewall
- Experience with Cyber would be a benefit- Strong 2nd line/3rd line IT experience
- An expert communicator and have the ability to work with senior stakeholders
