Our client, a prominent company in the energy sector based in Stockton-on-Tees, is seeking a talented Senior Java Developer/Team Lead to join their innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Java developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, scalable Java applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Utilise AWS services to build and deploy secure, scalable, and reliable applications.
  • Mentor junior developers, fostering skill development and growth within the team.

Essential Skills:

  • Solid experience in Java development, with a focus on building high-performance, scalable applications.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of developers.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Location: Stockton-on-Tess, UK / Hybrid

Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Pension + Benefits
