An IT solutions provider based in North America, that collaborates with prominent investment banks and communication firms, is currently seeking a Lead Java SDET to join their team. As they expand their European (London) headquarters from a workforce of 300 to over 400 employees this year, this prominent communications compliance provider is actively developing pioneering solutions for their clients, focusing on email, social media, and voice messaging.

The Lead Java SDET will have experience with Java coding and testing solutions for API services on large scale systems. The tech stack you will be working with includes: Java, JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, JMeter. Day to day, 50% of your time will be getting involved in design reviews, sprint planning and other Agile artifacts. The rest will be leading a team of 3-5 highly successful Java SDETs and getting involved with testing.

This Lead Java SDET opportunity will be a strong fit if you:

Have people management experience leading other testers and making tech decisions/taking ownership of projects
Proficient writing Java code
Have experience with Junit, Selenium and testing backend systems/APIs
Automationt testing background

As the Lead Java SDET, you will be a strong advocate for modern development ways of working including pair programming, Agile and BDD/TDD. This company is a regular host of tech meetups, hackathons, Pizza Thursdays and there are even a few beer taps in their offices!
