WHAT TO EXPECT

We are currently hiring of the position of a Software Test Lead Engineer. This role will be responsible for the strategic lead, definition and execution of testing Tools and Methods for harmonised control systems solutions, consisting of multiple interconnected components applied to Jaguar Land Rover vehicles for Powertrain.

You will be working on specialised passenger car programmes, overseeing the feeding of the FMA platform, and working on and with control systems software related to EDU and Battery, working on function and feature level software related tasks. As Lead engineer you will also be expected to interact with product domain owners and other key stakeholders.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities include

  • Deliver Propulsion Control System Verification and Validation capability through corporate toolchain.

  • Provide testing tools and methods best practice knowledge and training capability to the Propulsion Control System Domain.

  • Delivery of Control Systems Testing within Powertrain across the range of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles

  • Interaction with Key Stakeholders elsewhere within the business as well as overseeing immediate team.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

In order to be considered for this position you will need to have experience in working with Powertrain and control systems for pure battery electric vehicles. As lead engineer you will also need experience leading a team or project of some sort.

  • Control System Design Phase experience.

  • Knowledge of ASPICE and SiL/HiL/PiL test properties.

  • Experience in applying Systems Engineering and in testing of complex technical systems using a structured approach
