Access Developer

We have an urgent requirement for an Access Developer to assist with modifications to a local Access database to ensure that it can continue to function as required.

Essential Skills include:

o Significant experience of developing with Access

o Experience of working with database tables external to Access, preferably Oracle based.

o Knowledge of SQL, the ability to analyse queries, identify inter-dependencies and rewrite them to use alternative database tables

o Experience of producing formatted reports from an Access database

o Ability to work semi-independently.

o Rigorous approach to testing and verification of results

o Experience with SITS (Student Information Systems) would be ideal
