The new Building Safety Regulator (BSR) sits within HSE and is responsible for implementing a new regulatory regime and strategy for higher-risk residential buildings in England. The BSR oversees the safety and performance of the wider built environment, driving cultural change and increasing the competence of the building control profession.

We are now looking for a Data, MI and Reporting Analyst to join the new Building Safety Regulator (BSR) on a full-time basis, for a 12 month fixed-term appointment.

The Role

As a Data, MI and Reporting Analyst, you will analyse, synthesise, review and report on data for a range of Building Safety Regulator (BSR) workflows.

Seeking to provide operational insight and performance management, you will undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis and manage demand profiles and resource forecasts in order to create MI reports.

As your role evolves, you will move from helping establish ways of working and developing the operations performance management framework, to focus purely on analysis and recommendations.

 

About You

To be considered as a Data, MI and Reporting Analyst, you will need:

  • Experience creating and maintaining workload and resource forecasting and scenario models in an operational setting
  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with Pivot Tables, Excel Functions, Macros and basic VBA
