We have a very exciting remote permanent opportunity available for a talented Senior Business Analyst who has in-depth experience of working within the NHS with particular knowledge of Patient Administration Systems (PAS), EPR and Clinical Systems. You will be joining our clients Data Migration and Data Analytics team providing consultancy services to numerous NHS Trust clients.
This role offers the unique chance to be involved in all stages of business analysis and data migration, while also providing the flexibility to delve into other areas of NHS Consultancy work, particularly within the field of data analytics.This Senior Business Analyst position is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact. Your skills and ideas will truly make a difference to our client's operations and services.As part of this role, you will leverage your analytical skills to interpret NHS and Healthcare Data, identifying trends and patterns that will inform the creation of data models within Power BI. These models will be used to develop insightful dashboards that hospital trusts can utilize for improved efficiency and enhanced patient care.
Business Analysis ResponsibilitiesInvolved throughout the Deployment Life Cycle from initial engagement through to Go Live and Early Life support.Leading workshops with stakeholders to understand Trust's requirements especially around data, reporting and processes and documenting the results and getting them agreed, so what is and what is not in scope is clearly defined.Map Patient Administration System (PAS) / Clinical Systems existing data structures to EPR providers extracting the correct fields and applying suitable translations.Working with the Trusts to understand the future state of processes to ensure the migration satisfied these requirements.Review and report the results of the test migration runs, working with the Trust to fix any issues such as coding errors or data quality issues to improve quality and quantity of records migrated.Assist with UAT and raising and monitoring issues found to ensure a successful resolution and ensuring Trust are kept aware of progress.
Required Experience4+ years' minimum experience in a Business Analysis and/or Analytics role within a health information environment, preferably working in/with an NHS Trust or other Healthcare provider.An understanding of NHS Data Model and Statutory Reporting in the NHS.In-depth knowledge and understanding of Healthcare Information Systems with proven experience of working in successful data migration/reporting projects, involving one or more of the following PAS, EPR or Clinical Systems: -Cerner Millennium.CSC (iSOFT) Lorenzo, iPM & iCM, CLINiCOM, ICS PAS.System C Medway.IMS Maxims.Epic.InterSystems TrakCare.Allscripts.McKesson TotalCARE and Star - HP (EDS) Swift PAS.Cambio COSMIC.Rio.Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Data Migration Business Analysis across a number of Patient Administration Systems (PAS), EPR and/or Clinical Systems. This expertise is crucial due to the complexity and nature of our clients work which involves dealing with NHS Trusts that use multiple Clinical, EPR and PAS systems.
A candidate who has navigated through multiple data migration life cycles within the NHS would be better equipped to deal with the work that is being undertaken.
Technical Skills (Nice to have)Experience of any of the following would be an advantage but is NOT essential as training can be provided: - Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, with the ability to produce data models.Experience of interpreting healthcare data.In-depth understanding of the issues involved in data migration e.g., configuration item mappings, data field mappings, unique identifiers, patient pathways, de-duplication etc.Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.Ability to build relationships at all levels within a Trust environment, including the ability to engage with clinical and operational staff.Please note, for the right candidate with the required NHS, Patient Administration Systems (PAS) and Clinical Systems experience this role can be offered on a remote basis.To be considered for the role you MUST have the Right to Work in the UK without company sponsorship.
