This reputable main contractor specialise in the development of large scale construction projects across the commercial, civils and infrastructure sectors working on a number of notable projects in the UK, Ireland and Europe. With an emphasis on quality, teamwork and client satisfaction this contractor have contributed to major construction works for over 100 years and are consistently improving. Now they are looking for a Senior Commercial Lead to join their team of ambitious individuals. In this role you will work on a variety of interesting projects. You will be responsible for preparing tenders, analysing, negotiating, financial & commercial management, and completion of final accounts,. As well as this you will be responsible for managing and reporting forecasts, target, site records, variation reporting and assisting with document control. You will ensure that you are effectively liaising with & commercially influencing site management to ensure delivery. You will predominantly be based in Cork City, with some site based travel when required. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Quantity Surveyor, within residential/commercial construction projects. • Working within the commercial team
• Managing and reporting of forecasts, target, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, assisting in the site records & document control

The Person:

• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
• Proven experience working on prestigious construction projects
• Can commute to Cork
