The Capital Delivery Service are a key service area who work on built scheme development and delivery across a range of areas, including Housing, Education, Leisure, Culture and Regeneration. We deliver much needed new affordable housing, schools and teaching facilities, leisure facilities and public spaces.

It's an exciting time for the Capital Delivery Service with a scheme portfolio full of exciting and interesting projects, with more pipeline schemes to follow.

This is why we are now recruiting for permanent Project Managers to join our busy and expanding Capital Delivery Service team.

Individual scheme values will typically be up to £5m.

The Project Manager will also be expected to engage as required with Members and Senior Officers in all departments across the Council; regulatory and professional bodies; tenants/leaseholders; and voluntary and community groups, and members of the public.

The Project Manager will be expected to lead their assigned schemes through all stages of a project's development and delivery, and must have experience and skills in areas such as Programme management, Health & Safety, Design Development, Cost Development and Management, Planning, Building Control and Sustainability.

We are looking for dynamic individuals, who can work both as a team player and independently, who have preferably new build and refurbishment experience, who have at least 3 years' experience in the industry, with a minimum of 2 years' experience having worked for a local Authority in a similar project delivery role.

Interviews are expected to take place in January 2024 and dates will be confirmed to all successful applicants.
